Mitchie had just finished helping her mother get ready for her first prepared dinner that she was serving tonight and she had heard some gossip about a band being here to be joining the counselors but no one told her which band it was. She only dreamed of the possible bands that it could be. Soon though she just forgot about it and thought of something more fun like all of the friends she could make this year which made her excited because that was really all that she wanted to do here. Make friends and get along with everyone. She needed friends for the summer since she didn't have Erin and this time just one friend for a summer won't do. Mitchie decided to just look around the forest to let time pass until she had to go eat the amazing non-burger dinner that her and her mother made just a bit ago. She was excited even though she still hadn't met too many people at Camp Rock yet. Then again it was still only the first day..

Mitchie was wearing a red tank top with her navy blue skinny jeans and she had her black purse and colorful sneakers on and also had two large bracelets on her right arm. She walked into the forest and just walking around. It was so nice around and then the biggest tree caught her eye. It would have been the perfect palce to just hide out from people. She walked to it and sat in front of it. She then took out her ipod and put it into her ears. She turned it on and then started drumming and singing to the song that she was listening to. It was 'Don't Tell Me' by Avril Lavigne. She enjoyed singing and got really into the song.

She sang feeling like there was a presence somewhere around here. She looked around and turned off her ipod but all that she heard after that was the breeze. She turned her ipod back on and unpaused the song but this time she didn't sing to it because she didn't want anyone to hear her and laugh or anything.

Mitchie jumped a bit when she heard the bush rustle again only seeing Shane Grey walked out and start singing back to the song when she left off. She was a little bit surprised that his voice sounded so great compared to a voice like Avril Lavigne's and she loved Don't Tell Me so much because she could relate to it basically. She clapped when he finished figuring that he probably expected it being a rock star and all. He seemed different right now though. Like he wasn't that bad boy and conceited guy she'd heard about from press and her friend to went to a concert once. He was so stuck up compared to everything that she'd heard about him and she wasn't going to let all of that knowledge go just because he was nice enough to sing along with her when anyone could do that to be honest. He may have been cute but she still could see past him and she wasn't going to let a guy like Shane Grey mess with her head.

“Thanks.” She said with a smile. “You’ve got a pretty good voice yourself to be completely honest.” She said with a smile. She wanted to see if she couldn’t mess with him like he did to every other girl that she was sure he serenade. She smiled when he introduced himself and shook his hand with a smile. “No I’m sorry I’ve never heard of you. Shane? Alright I will try to remember that. I can’t promise that though.” She said with an innocent smile towards him. He seemed nice until that whole rocker bad boy started coming out again. “You know I’m joking right? I definitely know who you are. I mean from listening to the news and all. There aren’t that many guys I know of that have their whole life on camera and doesn’t do very well with that.” She said raising an eyebrow at him. She thought about what she could respond to him. What really brought her to the forest? “My mom gave me a break from work and since I’m also a camper here I wanted to check out the forest. This is truly why I am here.” She said with a smile towards Shane. She wasn’t going to act any bit different here just because of the fact that she is somewhere that more wealthy kids are.
